Tracing the life of an encounter specialist, who has his own system of judicial execution, Vithagan will show Parthiban in a new light. He plays the hotshot assistant commissioner who moonlights as the saviour of law, eradicating morally depraved criminals and corruption in police force. Muniandi Vilangiyal Moondram Aandu fame Poorna plays the heroine in this film. Apart from directing the film, Parthiban has also written the lyrics.
