Producer Oscar Ravichandran who is also the distributor of magnum opus Dasavatharam is hopeful of releasing the movie on May 23rd if everything goes according to the plan. There is only one last part of ‘30 seconds of Tsunami effect’ that needs to be complete and if that is finished on time, the movie will hit the theatres on May 23rd, else the movie will hit the theaters on June 6th.
Oscar Ravichandran has already booked 400 plus theaters all over the state and trailers of Dasavatharam is currently being aired in these theatres. Meanwhile a case against the film is pending in court for hurting the Hindu sentiments. It has been informed in the court by the producer that no definite date for the release has been fixed. A petition in reply to the case has been lodged by the producer that there is no intention of hurting the sentiments of Vaishnava’s or the Hindu’s in the movie.
The special effects and the computer graphics work of the movie are the going to be another attraction of Dasavathaaram along with the treat for all Kamal Hassan fans to see him in ten different avatars.
