Veterans K Balachandar – KS Sethu Madhavan launch Aaroganam Movie Audio
Veteran film maker K Balachandar says that the world is now praising Tamil cinema for its quality making and content.
Launched the audio of multidimensional ace actress Laksmi Ramakrishnan’s debut movie Aaroganam at Prasad Labs the thespian wished the entire team for making a sensible, shot and crisp feature film.
Remembering the days of his classic Agni Sakshi, the veteran told, “Lakshmi’s Aaroganam remembering my Agni Sakshi days. There are few resemblances between Agni Sakshi and Aaroganam. But I made that movie even without the knowledge of medical terms and the mental sickness of my protagonist. Now Lakshmi made it clear and gives perfect treatment to that character and its problems..”
Speaking about the budget of the movie, KB says, “When I was heard about the budget of Aaroganam, it was a little bit surprise to me. Because, nowadays a small budget film takes few crores. But this film ate few lakhs only. Making such a good movie in a shoe string budget is really inspired me and in fact now I’m thinking to make such a film more or less in the budget..”
Mentioning the highs of present Tamil cinema, KB proud on the worldwide recognition, reception and commercial success. He also wished Lakshmi Ramakrishnan to make 100 movies in future!
K S Sethumathavan
The person who drew attention of the visitors in the event was K S Sethumadhavan, another legend all the way from Kerala. He praised Lakshmi a lot for the sleek making of Aaroganam.
Mysskin
Director Mysskin, remembered his association with Lakshmi Ramakrishnan in Yudham Sei and appreciated the passion of Lakshmi that even extend to tonsure her head for a character. “Actually I would like to touch her feet for her dedication and passion towards cinema!”, Says Mysskin.
Earlier, the Audio CD was launched by K Balachander and K S Sethumadhavan and received by Directors Vasanth and Eeram Arivazhagan.
Directors Vasanth, Pandiraj, Eeram Arivazhagan, Producer T Shiva, actors Thalaivasal Vijay, Vadivukkarasi, ARS, Kumari Sachu, play back singer Chinmayi, heroine of Aaroganam Viji and others graced the occasion and shared the dais.
Anoop, the producer of the movie, Co producer Ramakrishnan, Presenter J Sathish Kumar (who bought the rights of the movie) hosted the event perfectly.
