It’s the teaming together of the director – hero duo who had given us a lively entertainer like ‘Adithadi’. ‘Adavadi’ was earlier titled ‘Reel Number 15’ and has since undergone a title change. The director, too, who was earlier called Shivraj has now re-christened himself Bharathanna.

The backdrop to the story is the film world, and Satyaraj plays an actor and a director in the film. Paired with him are three heroines. Radha who re-enters the Tamil filmdom after a long gap after her debut film ‘Sundara Travels’, Suja, and Parvesh, a girl from Iran are in the film.

An upcoming director falls in love with a heroine and how it affects his life and career forms the core of the story, says the real life director. The film has been completed in a schedule of 37 days, at location in Visakhapatnam. “My film will send a strong message to those who view the film industry with disdain,” adds the director.

The comedy track is taken care of by Ganja Karuppu and Muthukalai. The cast includes T P Gajendran, Y G Mahendran, Malaysia Vasudevan, Alex, Vyapuri, Adithadi Natesan, Satyapriya, Fatima Babu, and K R Vatsala. Playing the villain is debutant Afsal. With music by Deva, the film has its sets designed by Siva Yadav, stunt choreography by Dalapathi Dinesh, and cinematography by Jupiter Ashwin, son of stunt master Judo Ratnam.
