The first copy of the audio CD was presented by film producer Udhayanidhi Stalin to actor Arya on the occasion.
The film, which has music by Maria Manohar, has been directed by debutant Kuzhandai Velappan and produced by Kamal Nayan. Kamal Nayan is a financier who has turned producer with this Aanmai Thavarel movie.
