Veteran Actor Nambiar is no more. The star passed away on Wednesday – 19th November in chennai after suffering from longtime ailment. He was 89. He is survived by his wife, son and senior BJP leader Sukumaran Nambiar, and a daughter.
Manjeri Narayan Nambiar, made his name in Tamil cinema with a career spanning six decades, with more than 1,000 films to his name. His famous films include Aayirathil Oruvan, Ambikapathi, Missiyamma, Nenjam Marappathillai, Thooral Ninu Pochu , Thigambara Samiyar, Sarvadhikari, Manthrikumari, Enga Veetu Pillai and Arasilankumari.
M.N. Nambiar was an ardent devotee of Sabari Mala Sri Ayyappan. He had a long association with the temple, and had visited the shrine for more than 65 years, which earned him the title Maha Guruswamy.
