Swami Nityananda has quit his head post at the Dhyanapeetam Ashram and all trusts after being caught in a scandal with Tamil Actress Ranjitha a few weeks ago. The tape showed him in a compromising position with a Tamil actress Ranjitha.
Nithyananda said that he has decided to lead a life of spiritual seclusion and he took the help of spiritual gurus in the Haridwar Kumbh Mela he attended. He is facing numerous criminal charges.
Dhyanapeetam Ashram is located at Bidadi near Bangalore.
