Director Ameer’s Paruthi Veeran featuring Karthi and Priyamani has been drawing decent crowds till date. This movie has been sent to be screened in Cannes Film Festival. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this movie.

Editing and dubbing were completed last week and Pallikkodam is ready for release. Meanwhile director Thangar is keen to release film in Cannes before releasing it in local market. Hence translation of Tamil dialogues to give way to English subtitles has been going on in full swing.
