Sathyam Cinemas and Real Image proudly present Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru

3 June, 2009, Chennai: Real Image and Sathyam Cinemas have come together to produce their first feature film Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru, directed by debutant director Nandhini JS.

Sathyam Cinemas and Real Image together, aim to break new ground in Tamil Cinema. They plan to identify young talent; be it directors, cinematographers, music directors or artistes; with refreshing new ideas and give talent the solid backing of technology to execute these ideas in digital format from start to finish (from shooting to projection).

Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru will be the first Tamil film to have an all digital release in India and abroad. The movie will be released in Telugu too. The movie, shot on Red One camera, will be post produced in 4K resolution. Digital colour grading will be executed on Digital Visionâ€™s Film Master – the first Indian film to be finished on this system.

Following the foot steps of women film makers Revathi, Suhasini and Priya V, Nandhini JS makes her debut as a director in this film. A gold medalist from the Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu, Nandhini caught the attention of critics as early as 2003 with her double Tamil Nadu State Award winning short film â€˜Ottamâ€™. She worked as an Associate Director in the Tamil movie ‘Kanda Naal Mudhal’, directed by Priya.V.

Ajmal (of Anjathe and 4777) and new comer Rupa (a Tamilian model from Bangalore) star in this film. They are portrayed as opposites in the film. Ajmal as a happy-go-lucky guy whose white lies get him deeper and deeper into a muddle. The prim and proper Rupa has no choice but to be in the thick of it all. In the process the opposites do get drawn to each other in a unique way while the audience is kept entertained with nonstop humour.

Veteran film maker Mouli has an interesting character role that gives the film a new dimension. Sudhir Chaudhary, a DFT Gold Medalist, is handling the camera. Art direction is being handled by Kiran who is also involved in films like Vamanan and Katrathu Kalavu. Mani Sharma set the tunes for the lyrics of Yugabharathi and Lalithanand and M S Surya of Kannamoochi Enada and Aanandam Aarambam fame is the editor.

The shooting of the movie is almost complete and the post production work will start soon. The audio launch of the film is to be held shortly.
