Tamil Cinema Corporation’s Idhayam Thiraiyarangam

Casting hero is a common middle class family man whose profession is a car mechanic in a small company. The utmost wish of his parents is to build a house for their only kid without any mortgage. The hero also adjusts his life accordingly to their wish to be fulfilled.
Feminine villain is well defined whose profession as a gunda and a known money lender in the city. In the greedy villains life she very madly believes horoscopes and vital poojas, henceforth she literally showers her daughter with money everyday thinking she gets richer by doing so. Therefore the villain deems her only daughter maha as her lucky charm, so she loves her daughter limitless and protect her with utmost care selfishly. The heroine maha is a dazzling, bubbly and a soft girl unlike to her mother. Heroine Maha and hero Kumar accidentally met each other through a golden pen incident, which later budded as a beautiful love. Besides the hero believes his moms wish and dreams are worthier to be fulfilled first than his own desires in his life. In between the heroine’s mom get to know about what is happening and gets angry over the hero for interfering in her daughter’s life. From this time forth what are the issues and incidents happened in Kumar’s life whilst fulfilling his parents dream and the barriers he faced raised by the villain is the soul part of this script.
Hard work, Trust in God,, Horoscopes, how these three topics are getting confused by the people in the society is the base, which is clearly illustrated through means of love, comedy cum action movie “Idhayam Thiraiyarangam”

Rethika Srinivas, who has acted in Vazhakku Enn 18/9 as the school correspondent and very close associate of a state minister. But at the very first attempt itself she stunned audiences by her extraordinary performance.

Rethika Srinivas is belonging to a Tamil family which is residing in Mumbai for more than 150 years. As a teenage girl she relocated to Chennai and finished her graduation in electronic engineering from SRM Univ followed by a post graduation in media studies form UK based University.

She started her own media company in the name of Ice Breakers. IB has produced many ad films and conducted mega events in Dubai with Kollywood and Bollywood stars. Rethika Srinivasan herself acted in more than 40 ad films including the brands like BSA SLR, Preethi and Chennai Diamonds. Few of the Participants of such star nights form Tamil film industry gave the idea of acting in Tamil films. She came to Chennai after settling in Dubai with a nice house for hunting opportunities in Tamil Films.

Rethika Srinivas participated in the audition and got the golden opportunity in Vazhakku Enn 18/9. “Director Balaji Sakthivel put full faith on me and gave complete freedom to perform” said Rethika Srinivas.

As everybody knows she is being approached by many of the film makers after watching her on Vazhakku Enn 18/9. But she is not hurry in signing assignments as she is waiting for some challenging characters.

When we asked about the feedbacks form her family and fans after the deadly negative character in VE 18/9, Rethika Srinivas said, “ First of all, all in our family praised me a lot… my husband who knows nothing about Tamil Cinema is now watching Vazhakku Enn 18/9 again and again with his friends and started knowing many thing about Tamil Cinema and its technicians as well.

As for as audiences and fans concern they are very matured nowadays and could easily differentiate the characters and the cast in it…After identifying myself they came forward and congratulated me a lot …Really I was very happy at that time.

“I think I passed in my house and in industry as well” says Rethika.

Srikanth escaped from fire while shooting

Pagan is being produced by Viswas U Lot in association with
Purushotham on behalf of VP Productions. Srikanth – Janani Iyer are
the lead pair of this movie. Kovai Sarala, Soori, Pondy, George and
Anumohan also starring in Paagan.

The shooting of Paagan is happening in Pollachi, Tirupur and
Kodaikanal. A bomb blast scene has been shot for climax. Very first
time in India SONY F65 camera has been used for shooting. Srikanth has
performed casually in this risky sequences without any dupe. Though
the safety rope got cut he escaped narrowly.

Talking about this accident Srikanth says, “ Almost I meet accidents
in all my films…there is a strong relation between me and fire..ha
ha…you can call me as an accident baby..Master Supreme Sundar is
always extremely careful on actors when he shot such sequences…with
his help we have done all risky and dangerous fight sequences very
casually..If this bomb blast sequences went well …Paagan would created
a record as No accident movie while shooting. All advised me not to
take risk and decided to go for dupe… but I know there is a family
behind the dupe artistes also…if it was a risk for me why not for
him??? So I got ready to perform and was tied by a rope..We did so
many rehearsal…by the time the rope became week..finally the rope got
cut at the take… I slipped and luckily in a spilt second I got out
from the place in which the bomb was going to be blast…The stunt
artistes pulled off the rope only instead of with me … I could not
believe my escape ..the tension remains till now..

But I ve meet an unforgettable accident in Manasellam movie…like
that accident happened in Paagan also…

Particularly we shot with SONY F 65 camera. Till now nobody has used
in India. It has the capability of capturing scenes by going inside
the fires…You can realize my narrow escaping when you will watch the
movie…”

Aslam the former associate of Directors Cheran, Ameer and Radha Mohan
debuts himself as a director in Paagan. He has also written the story,
screenplay and dialogue for Paagan. Cinematographer is J Lakshman
while Jemes Vansanthan composes the music for Paagan.
